We’re getting married!

Come one, come all to the greatest ceremony on Earth! All the excitement of a 3 ring circus fit into 2! What started on Bumble is now ready for the big stage. For our first act, things shot off like a human cannonball with drinks and wrestling at Bircus Brewing. From there we juggled our schedules to quickly meet again. Like the double trapeze, we’ve held on to each other tight ever since. For over 2 years we’ve been practicing our act for the big show. Constant clowning around has honed our senses of humor. Our shared love of spicy foods sometimes causes us to breathe fire. Fitting into small plane seats to travel to new destinations has developed our contortionist skills. We have a well rounded act that is ready for the big time. Our engagement was a high-wire act requiring secrecy and coordination from multiple performers. As ringmaster, I wanted to bring it back to where we started, Bircus, with an audience of our closest friends and family. Leah was expecting dinner with my grandparents, but when the curtains were drawn they revealed a much bigger surprise. With limited rehearsal, everything went perfectly! Seeing her surprised and hearing her say “Yes!” was truly magic. Now we’re ready for the spotlight, to jump through the ring of fire together. Who would’ve thought what started with a wrestling ring would lead to a wedding ring?
