Keira is Leah's younger sister. Being less than two year apart in age, they spent a lot of time together as kids as well as now, because they both live in the greater Cincinnati area. Keira & Sam graduated high school in the same year and had many classes together.

Collin is one of Sam's closest friends. Sam and Collin both love to give Leah a hard time about being a Steelers fan. Leah & Collin were also roommates in college.

Leah & Bri met in high school through basketball and softball. After Leah moved to Cincinnati for college, Bri moved down as well. After graduation, they briefly lived together and Bri ended up dating one of Leah's college roommates, Jacob.

Jacob is a close friend to Sam. Jake and Sam are seen too many times dancing with each other during nights out. Leah & Jacob were roommates in college.

Leah & McKenna met in college. Through a leap of faith, they ended up living together for many years (along with the lengthy list of roommates you'll see here) as well as managing to survive nursing school together.

Brian is a close friend of Sam. He and Sam met through Leah, Brian is another one of Leah's roommates from college. Sam and Brain have bonded through their love of bourbon.

Matt & Sam also became friends through Leah. Sam's loud personality is well balanced by Matt's laid back vibe. Leah met Matt in college through Morgan when they started dating.

Leah & Alex met in college. They drug each other through the depths of nursing school and then through the happy and sad moments of being a nurse in & out of the hospital.

Frank is the oldest of Sam's twin brothers. Sam enjoyed displaying his stellar drumming skills on Frank's drum set as a child. He is objectively Leah's favorite brother because he is also a Steeler fan!
Shelbi Flynn

Leah & Shelbi met through rec softball as children. She is Leah's longest friend, as they come up on two decades of friendship. She also happens to be the person that introduced Leah & Sam.

Steven is the other half of Sam's older twin brothers. Sam and Steven bond by annoying the rest of the family with silly voices and impressions.

Philip is the last of Sam's older brothers. As children, Sam especially loved jamming out to Wocka Flocka Flame and Wale in the car when Philip drove them to school.

Chris is Sam's favorite (and only) younger brother. Being the closest in age, Sam and Chris spent a lot of time together as children, especially playing outside before they moved to Dayton.

Nick & Leah met in college through clinical with Alex. He became someone that she spent so much of her time with during college which continued on to a friendship with Sam after Leah & Sam started dating. They can't imagine anyone else to marry them on their wedding day!
