Leah & Ryan

Ryan and Leah met freshman year of high school and after having many classes together, became best friends. Both of them were always dating other people and they would all hang out together as a group. After high school ended, they graduated and both went separate ways. Leah went to Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and Ryan went to Western Connecticut in Danbury, CT. They lost touch for just about 11 years. However, in April 2020, right as the pandemic hit, Leah reached out to Ryan via Snapchat (yikes) and they continued to message back and forth for a few days before moving to texting and eventually planning a day to see each other. Given the circumstances, the only COVID friendly thing to do was go for walks. They spent their first date walking around Hubbard Park for about 5 hours. Neither of them wanted the day to end. After that, they tried a trail in Cheshire but spent most of their days walking the Wolcott Trail. After 1 year, they moved into an apartment together just outside of Boston and Leah and Ryan officially became roommates! FINALLY (lol) on April 8, 2023, during a walk on the Wolcott Trail, Ryan asked Leah to marry him and she said "OF COURSE I WILL"! They are so excited for what's to come and cannot wait to celebrate their love on December 15 with all of you!!
