When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31, 2021 by going to the RSVP portion of this website. Please type in first and last name of the person listed first on the invitation envelope. You may also text Leah at 307.660.5694.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue no later than 3:45 pm on 7/2/2021. Ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm.

How far is the venue from Rapid City and Deadwood?

Answer

Black Hills Receptions is 10 miles, give or take, from Rapid City via Hwy 44. Please allow at least 20-30 minutes to get to the venue from Rapid City due to summertime traffic. Black Hills Receptions is 33 miles from Deadwood via Hwy 385/Hwy 44. Please allow yourself at least one hour to get to the venue if you are staying in Deadwood due to summertime traffic.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail hour is from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This will allow the wedding party to take additional pictures. We will provide drinks and appetizers during this time as well as lawn games for you to enjoy! Please take full advantage of our photo booth! At the end of the night, Leah and Rusty will receive a book full of the funny and crazy photos guests took, providing them a memento to cherish for years to come!

How can I get the pictures I take to the newlyweds?

We have created a hashtag that you may use to share pictures of us and the wedding festivities when posting online. Please use #GetYourStevensOn

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a summer wedding so dress for warm weather. We are not formal people so come as you are.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have blocked rooms at Microtel Inn and Hampton Inn in Rapid City, SD. Reservations must be made before June 2, 2021. Please call the Microtel directly and use Williamsen/Stevens Wedding for the discount code. Hampton Inn has a special link to register for the room that is discounted. Please click the HOTEL BLOCK tab located on this website and click the view tab in the Hampton Inn section to be taken to the their website. Motel blocks are for the night of 7/2/2021 only. If you require additional nights, please make those reservations when you call to reserve your room. Please refer to the HOTEL BLOCK tab of this website for detailed reservation information for all motel blocks.
