When Should I Arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the Rock Garden to be seated for our ceremony at 3:30pm. If you arrive earlier than this, you can wander the gardens at the RBG Centre (a short drive away, for free!)

Can I access the gardens at any time?

Answer

Guests for the wedding have full access to the Rock Garden and Main Gardens at RBG. You have access throughout their open hours, simply mention to the front staff that you're a wedding guest at the Rock Garden and they will let you in.

What is an Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

Please no cameras, phones, or recording devices during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our day and trust them to get all of our special moments! We want our guests to be present in the moment we commit ourselves to each other <3

What Should I Wear????

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire for our Garden Party wedding! Light blues, pinks, and greens, pastel yellows, purples, and oranges. Floral patterns and textures are welcome and encouraged. Please no white dresses! The ceremony will be outdoors (on grass) so please dress according to weather if you can!

Who Can I Bring?

Please arrive with only those listed on the RSVP. We have limited space at our venue and cannot accommodate extra people. This is a child-free wedding.

Where is parking, and is it free?

Answer

What is not allowed at the venue?

Answer

Since it is a botanical garden, there are no open flames or sparklers allowed. Things that can cause litter/harm to the environment and wildlife are also not allowed, such as confetti or throwing of rice.

What are the rules around alcohol?

Answer

We will be having a cash bar to purchase alcohol at our wedding! Wine will be available at the tables.

Is the venue smoke-free?

Answer

The venue is smoke-free, including weed, vape, etc. There is no smoking allowed in the gardens or at the venue and must be done off-site.

What if I need to stay over?

Answer

There are many hotels located near the venue in both Hamilton and Burlington. Cars may be left in the parking lot overnight if needed.
