We met at the Howe2Run run club. The first day I went to the group run club was for a Sunday run. Parker never went to Sunday runs, but there he was. I was immediately taken aback by how cute he was but thought he was seeing a girl he trained with. Likewise for him, he thought I was seeing a friend I had come in with. Thankfully Marc (MC) likes to play cupid. It only took about a week before Parker and I exchanged numbers, and he had me sign up for my first 10k. From that moment on we were inseparable.... until the Army told me I had other places to be and race weekends for Parker always landed on weekends I would finally be home. But we jumped through every hoop, spent many nights on the phone, and cherished every moment we had in person with each other. Flash forward about five months and we knew in meeting each other our lives would change forever. When it came time for my to move to North Carolina he did not hesitate to sell his house, quit his job, and move with me. We have supported each other through mile stones, career changes, and new addresses. It is only fitting that the next step in our journey is deciding to spend forever together. I know we are both so lucky to have found each other, and get the opportunity to marry our best friend.
