FAQs

Question

By when do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 9, 2026!

Question

What to know about traveling in Lebanon?

Answer

Lebanon is generally safe, especially in the areas where we are planning our events. Like traveling anywhere, it’s important to stay in recommended neighborhoods, follow local guidance, and use common sense. Our events, accommodations, and transportation have all been planned with guest safety and comfort. A few key measures we are taking include: • Arranging transportation to and from all scheduled events • Planning all events in areas that are not impacted by the State department travel advisory • Closely monitoring political and security developments leading up to and during the events

Question

Should we make additional travel plans?

Answer

We welcome guests to extend their stay in Lebanon (check out the “things to do” section for suggestions), however, if you are not an experienced traveler in the Middle East we strongly encourage you to coordinate your plans with Leah and Moe so we can help with logistical arrangements and recommendations.

Question

Do I need a visa?

Answer

A visa is not needed for US passport holders to travel to Lebanon.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Lebanon is stylish, modern, and diverse. In cities and social settings, attire is similar to what you’d wear in Europe or the U.S. For daytime sightseeing, comfortable and breathable clothing is best. Evenings tend to be dressier, especially for dinners and events.

Question

What currency should I use?

Answer

Both U.S. dollars and Lebanese lira are widely used, with USD accepted almost everywhere. We recommend bringing small bills, as change can be limited. Credit cards are accepted in many hotels, restaurants, and shops, but having cash on hand is important.

Question

How can I use my phone?

Answer

Most guests choose to use international roaming or purchase a local SIM card upon arrival. Wi-Fi is widely available at hotels and cafes.

Question

Any cultural tips to know?

Answer

Lebanese culture is warm and welcoming. Hospitality is a point of pride, and guests are often treated like family. People dress well, value good food and conversation, and appreciate politeness and friendliness. English is widely spoken, especially in cities.
