Question

Important Info…

Answer

We're thrilled to celebrate our love with you. Please know that this is a queer wedding, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that respects and honors the LGBTQIA+ community. We kindly ask that all guests respect everyone's pronouns and identities. We look forward to sharing this special day with you! Please visit [www.mypronouns.org](www.mypronouns.org) if you would like more information if this practice is new for you!

Question

What are the plans for the time in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There will be a few hours of "free time" between the ceremony and the reception, offering an opportunity for those traveling from afar to immerse themselves more fully in the experience. During this time, you'll have the chance to enjoy lunch from a food truck, play lawn games, listen to music, create art, and participate in other activities on the grounds. If you prefer, you can also take this time to rest, explore Asheville, or simply do whatever feels right for you!

Question

What if I have a specific Dietary Restriction?

Answer

When you RSVP on the website, you will be asked to submit any dietary restrictions and preferences. The reception dinner will be served buffet style with enough options for all specifications.

Question

For any other questions regarding logistics, accommodations, or concerns…

Answer

Weddings can be wonderfully busy, and to ensure Leah and Milo can fully enjoy their special day, we kindly ask that you direct any questions, comments, or concerns to our wedding coordinator, Katie Hughes. Katie is here to help with any details and make sure everything runs smoothly, allowing Leah and Milo to focus on celebrating with you! You can reach her at kehughes12@gmail.com

Question

Weather conditions

Answer

This wedding will be an all day event with possible weather conditions that we cannot predict. Though we are hoping for a beautiful day, we have a rainy day plan if we are unable to be outdoors. Please bring an umbrella or a raincoat for walking between buildings in case we get a drizzle.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage guests to dress in a style that's slightly elegant or semi-formal, with a touch of fairy-like whimsy—think magical and playful! There will be outdoor elements to the wedding, including walking on a lawn, which is helpful to consider. Above all, your comfort is key, so feel free to choose attire that makes you feel both comfortable and confident throughout the celebration.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus-one was included on your invitation, we would love for your guest to join us! If a plus-one wasn’t offered but you would feel more comfortable bringing someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out. However, please understand that accommodating additional guests not directly invited may be difficult due to the number of guests we’re expecting. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to accommodate where possible!

Question

Is there parking available? Accessibility?

Answer

There is more than enough parking at the venue to accommodate our guests vehicles. The parking is a few minute walk to the ceremony space. If a guest is in need of assistance with this, you will be able to drive up to the space to drop someone off, and then park the car back in the parking area. The parking area is directly next to the reception area.
