We are still planning on hosting our wedding and reception as long as we are legally able. The Cathedral of Christ the King is quite large, and they had no concerns that we would be able to space families/couples apart to be able to be "socially distant." The Carrick House is working off of half capacity, so we will be able to have our expected amount of guests! We can't wait to see all of you there! If you do have any major concerns, please let us know if we can help clear anything up. If you feel you can no longer attend, please let us know before August 10.
At the church, we will have ushers to make sure all families/couples are spaced out and comfortable. At our reception, we will have larger tables to safely accommodate our guests and keep enough distance between each other. We'll have servers wearing masks and gloves, hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue, masks and gloves provided, and disposable drink-ware. There will also be a sanitation attendant who will walk around throughout the night wiping surfaces, chairs, etc down with sanitizing materials. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable being seated at a table with other guests outside your family, and we will work to accommodate you! Please also remember to respect space between all of our guests. We want to give everyone a huge hug at our wedding, but air kisses and hugs will have to suffice for now!
We do ask that you wear a mask when you are unable to maintain social distance between other guests when you are not seated, eating, or drinking. We know this isn't ideal, but we want our guests to remain safe and healthy. We will be providing masks at our reception!
We will be having different stations with attendants to serve food, so no guests will have to touch any shared utensils! There will be plenty of options to suit any dietary restrictions, but please let us know if there is anything you may be worried about.
We will definitely still be having a great time dancing together! The Carrick House has a large dance floor where we can spread out, if needed.
While we love all of the children in our lives, we ask that you leave them with a sitter so we can all have a blast dancing the night away.
