Our celebration is designed to feel relaxed, intimate, and welcoming. Expect a brief ceremony, family-style Italian dinner, cocktails, music, beautiful lake views, and plenty of time to enjoy good food and great company.
If you’re flying into Reno, we recommend taking the South Tahoe Airporter to Harrahs Lake Tahoe. From there, you can take an Uber or Lyft to the house. If we arrange a guest shuttle from Harrahs, we’ll send those details before the wedding.
Parking at the house is limited. Please let us know on your RSVP if you’ll be bringing a vehicle so we can plan accordingly. We may ask some guests to carpool if needed.
Please plan to arrive at the house no earlier than 4:00 PM on Friday, September 18, as we won’t have access to the property before then.
September in Lake Tahoe typically brings sunny days in the upper 60s to low 70s, with evenings cooling into the 40s and low 50s. We recommend bringing a light jacket, wrap, or shawl for the evening.
Our wedding attire is cocktail to semi-formal. Guests are welcome to wear our wedding colors if they wish, but black is always welcome. Please see our Wedding Attire Inspiration image in the Gallery for outfit examples and our color palette.
Absolutely! We’d love for you to make a weekend of it. Guests staying at the house are welcome to enjoy the property through Monday morning. Guests staying elsewhere are also invited to join us on Sunday for breakfast, relaxing at the house, and our optional M.S. Dixie Dinner Cruise. If additional rooms at the house become available for Sunday night, we’ll reach out to guests individually.
Your presence is truly the greatest gift. We know many of you are traveling to celebrate with us, and we’re so grateful you’ve chosen to spend the weekend in Lake Tahoe. If you’d still like to give a gift, we’ve created a small registry for your convenience, but please know your presence is more than enough.
