Directions: Navigate to Gooseberry Falls State Park. Proceed toward the fee area (not Visitor Center/waterfalls.) If you do not have a current MN State Park vehicle permit, tell the attendant that you are there for the Nelson/Lauer wedding. We will cover the vehicle passes for the day and it will help speed things along. There is some parking next to the Lady Slipper Lodge. Wedding Reception

Beach wedding! Dress as fancy as you'd like, but we'd like you to be comfortable. Be sure to check the weather on Park Point. Lake Superior always has the air conditioning on!
We will be having a private ceremony early in the morning and a reception with dinner, drinks, and dancing in the evening. Can't wait to see you! To access the Park Point Beach House, you will drive across Duluth's famous Lift Bridge. Have you ever been “bridged” when heading out to Park Point? This happens when the lift bridge goes up to let a ship or boats through. Getting bridged can delay you up to 30 minutes. Plan a little extra travel time!
