Question

*COVID-19 Updates*

Answer

We are thrilled to announce our new wedding date, September 5th 2021. We sincerely hope you'll be able to attend! Please RSVP anytime before August 1st, 2021 to let us know you're coming. With the emergence of the COVID Delta variant becoming more prevalent, we want to ensure a safe gathering of friends and family. Safety is our first priority. As such, we ask that if possible, anyone who hasn't yet received the vaccine do so if they can. If unable to, we kindly ask that you strongly consider visiting a rapid testing facility as close to the wedding date as possible. Should an update in CDC guidance, state or local laws take effect prior to the wedding, including reverting back to the mask mandate, it is expected that everyone attending our event will be abiding by these guidelines regardless of individual vaccination status. We humbly ask our closest friends and family to please be considerate and respectful of everyone's health and wellness by doing your part to minimize the spread, either through vaccination or negative testing.

Question

**Tahoe National Forest, Wildfires & Air Quality**

Answer

The USDA has announced the temporary closure of the Tahoe National Forest, among 8 others, due to the ongoing wildfire situation in Northern California. This closure will remain in effect from Aug 22nd - Sept 6th. The Nevada-side of Lake Tahoe should still be accessible at this time. The Caldor Fire is progressing towards South Lake Tahoe. If driving from the Bay Area, consider going north on HWY 80 instead of HWY 50. Due to the fires, we are monitoring AQI (Air Quality Index) to attempt to not expose our guests to unhealthy smoke levels. As such, we may have a new venue for the reception just up the road from our original venue (walkable distance). We will make the decision the day before and publish it here.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly respond by August 1st. You can RSVP via our wedding website or return the RSVP card that arrived in the mail along with your invitation. *If you've already sent back your original RSVP card and need to re-RSVP, please do so online or feel free to contact us directly at the email listed below in the FAQ's* **If you've already RSVP'd and need to change your status based on growing Delta concerns, please notify us no later than August 10th.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, however parking space is very limited. In order to allow those with disabilities or anyone who may require additional assistance getting to the venue, we suggest parking on the road entering the venue or somewhere in town. Sierra City is very small, so parking most anywhere in town will be a short walking distance to the venue. Carpooling with friends and family is highly encouraged!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. The weather can be unpredictable so please dress accordingly!

Question

What is our shipping address?

Answer

9681 N Melandra Way Marana, AZ 85653

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We'll even have some fun outdoor activities to keep your kiddos entertained throughout the evening.
