July is peak tourist and wind surfing season in the gorge. Hotels and vacation rentals will fill up quickly, so we suggest booking as soon as you are ready! We have found more success with booking when you call the hotels directly. We also encourage booking a house through Air BnB, VRBO, Vacasa, etc.!
