Great place for a nice Fall walk. Not too taxing and restaurants and hotel are nearby.
If you're looking for a little more of a physical challenge and some pretty views of land and sea, this is your place.
Great little brewery in downtown York Beach. Can bring your own food in.
Cute little lighthouse with great views of the Atlantic. Also, the place where our proposal was originally supposed to happen. ;)
Sister brewery to York Beach Brewing. People love the Whoopie Pie Porter. Also close to the grocery store and restaurants.
For the shoppers in the group, the Kittery Outlets are close by and full of stores, restaurants, and breweries. Check out the Kittery Trading Post if you go.
Great outdoor venue to get some lobsters and drinks. Often times there is live music on the weekends.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. At first site you think it's just a gas station, but they also have a coffee shop, a deli, pizza, local treats and drinks to-go, and an AMAZING bakery.
Great place to get a lobster roll and other fare. Their Rum Punch is top notch! Grab a bite to eat and then enjoy a walk around the little shops at Perkin's Cove or take a beautiful seaside stroll along the 2.4 mile Marginal Way. If you're into fishing, you can charter a boat from Perkin's Cove.
Steps away from Short Sands Beach. The Union Bluff is a great place for a bite and some drinks. If you need a salt water taffy fix, check out The Goldenrod. There are many shops to check out if you want some merch. Definitely an easy place to pass some time.
Great place to grab some snacks for the hotel or a sandwich. They have beer and wine to go as well.

Rated as a Traveler’s Choice by Tripadvisor, The Greenery Cafe offers homemade muffins, baked goods, crab, and traditional breakfast fare like egg scrambles. They are also known for having a terrific bloody mary. You can even purchase premade salads and chicken salad to take with you as you explore Southern Maine. The items are perfect for a lunch picnic. As a side note, The Greenery Cafe also operates a market and bakery with an extensive selection of baked goods made with fresh ingredients. Grab a few for your walk along Marginal Way Walk. Then, you can take a scenic break with a tasty snack.
Little spot for breakfast. Has been in business for over 40 years.
Rated by Trip Advisor as a Traveler’s Choice, Egg & I Restaurant is an excellent option while visiting Ogunquit. They are recognized for their delicious food and excellent service. If I were checking out their menu, I would lean towards a breakfast sandwich, chicken & waffles, or a Belgian waffle topped with fresh fruit. First, however, check their menu, as they regularly add new specials.
Looking to enjoy an ocean-side walk with plenty of opportunities to sit and take in the gorgeous view? There may be no better place in Maine than along Ogunquit’s Marginal Way. Only 1.25 miles long, the cliff walk wends its way starting at one end near The Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort on Shore Road and brings you along a paved path, past stately hotels and inns, and rocky beaches to Perkins Cove. There are 39 benches located at ideal viewing spots all along the path—perfect for sitting and contemplating the vibrant Atlantic Ocean, or perhaps sketching the sight to share with a friend. Admire the little lighthouse overlooking Ogunquit Beach, enjoy watching sailboats pass by or step off the path to explore a beach or rocky cove. Once you reach Perkins Cove, you can watch the lobster boats come in and maybe pick up today’s catch for dinner or grab some take out from one of the many restaurants nestled along this tiny harbor.
Cute little place with great lobster rolls. Good views and shops nearby. Is also at one end of Marginal Way if you want to get a walk in with some views.
