Question

What is the dress code? Modern Elegance with sneakers on the side :)

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length formal dresses for example gentleman can wear a suit and tie or dress shirt with tie. No jeans, please! BUT BRING a pair of comfy shoes to party in after dinner !

Am I allowed a guest?

Answer

Due to our venues regulations, we are only allowed a certain amount of people. Unless the formal invitation stated that you get a plus one, please do not assume and bring a plus one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child is a part of the wedding party of course they are welcome. However, we are asking that if you can make arrangements for the children to not attend, that would be helpful. However, we are aware that circumstances may happen however, please contact us and do not just assume. Thank you so much for respecting our wishes.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

I would arrive at least 30 minutes early once the ceremony starts, no one will be allowed in until the ceremony is over.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on your RSVP invite so that we can plan accordingly. RSVP is required NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTRA GUEST.

Where will the reception party take place?

Answer

Both the reception and ceremony will be taking place at our wedding venue. The address and details will be sent with your save the date and invitation to come.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there’s plenty of parking and there’s also a small door of the venue. There’s also plenty of handicap parking as well for those who are in need.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The bridal party will be in the mist of doing different activities. Family and friends who are coming to the wedding will have an agenda available to them with things to do around the city and around the area of the venue.

Parking, Rides, Handicap

Answer

PLEASE note if you have a TRUE handicap parking pass there are available parking spots. PLEASE DO NOT WORRY if you have to park in the parking lot there will be someone there to drive directly to the venue door. Ladies you can still wear your heels and be comfortable, you will have to do minimal walking except at the end of the night.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony (weather permitting) will be outdoors. The forecast is predicting 69-70 degrees, however a small breeze. Please make sure to bring a shawl if needed or a light jacket. We do not foresee you needing it, but better to plan than ve without.

Are there colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories, and creams.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. The bar will open directly after the ceremony and stop serving an hour before the reception is over for the safety of our guests. We will be serving a variety of cocktails, beers, and wine. Tips are welcome!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotel recommendations are the Embassy suites. This will also be posted on our website with information to come. The hotel block will be under the Nicholson ~ Hayes wedding. As of this moment there are 15 rooms that are blocked off. Once we start to receive RSVPs we will increase the numbers. The other hotels in the area will also be listed however, the Embassy suites was the most affordable compared to the other hotels that we researched.

When Is the deadline to return my RSVP

Answer

Your RSVP is due by FEBRUARY 25… THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS …. Please understand we have to plan for each and every person that RSVPs’ and if you say you are coming we are expecting your presence (we know things arise that may be unpredictable)….
