About Us

Josh and I began dating in August of 2015. We currently live in Glen Burnie, Maryland where we bought our first home together in May 2018. We share this home with our two cats, Charlie and LucyFur, a border collie mix by the name of Scooby Doo, and our purebred husky, Coba. It is safe to say that there is never a dull moment! We wouldn’t change it for the world, though. We have regular “family” dinner and game nights with friends, and are known for our cookouts every summer. We were both blessed to keep our jobs through COVID and worked from home for the majority of 2020 and 2021. With all the time being spent at home, we found many projects to keep busy. At the start of 2021 we completely updated our living spaces and could not be happier with the outcome! Josh is currently a Business Development Officer with PNC’s Organizational Financial Wellness and has received many awards for his work. In his spare time, Josh plays billiards (he has been to Las Vegas several times to compete nationally) and he has recently taken on the competitive world of cornhole. Leah is currently a Client Solutions Specialist with PNC’s Wealth Management office in Baltimore. When she is not religiously cleaning the house she can be found with the neighbors playing games and doing crafts, finding something to redecorate, or taking advantage of a quiet night to read a book.

Popping The Question

July 2020

Whether it be holidays, birthdays or promotions - Josh loves a celebration. This is why when he said that he made arrangements for me the Saturday following my birthday, I thought nothing more of it. I woke up to breakfast in bed and a note letting me know it was a day with no worries. He packed a bag for me and sent me on my way with one of my best friends. The entire day was scheduled down to the minute and he gave me notes hinting at what was next. I was lead to a massage, my favorite crepe, a manicure with a friend whom I truly missed, and to meet Josh for a sailboat ride through Annapolis. We did a light lunch and went to my favorite boutique in town. He didn’t even complain as I touched everything and asked if it was cute. (I should have been suspicious at this point!) When we returned to the truck he handed me a note which he prefaced as the last. “The End” took us to one of our favorite restaurants where I was greeted by all of our closest friends. It was a surprise party to celebrate my birthday! We ate and laughed and made the most of our time together. Following dinner, the group of us went to get ice cream near the water and Josh asked to take a picture with me, knowing I always regret not having a camera in hand. We walked to the dock and posed, smiling for a quick photo-op when he handed me a note and dropped to one knee. It read, “The Beginning...” and through the happiest tears, I said yes!
