Across from the AC Hotel in North Hills. Easy, convenient, cold beers and good food.

Yard House

Most frequently visited. Definitely get a beer here. At the top of South Glenwood Street (local watering hole with a ton of walkable bars/restaurants).  World Record Holder for most beers on tap (true fact - 397).

Raleigh Beer Garden

Downtown (walkable to many places). Known for: great food/brunch, chicken sandwiches, cocktails, patio and southern comfort.

Whiskey Kitchen

Can't be a McArdle wedding without an Irish bar. Great rooftop. Part of South Glenwood Street - very walkable.

Hibernian Irish Pub & Restaurant

Brewery on a hill with a great view of the city. Great outdoor spaces, even if it is cold.

Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing

Our favorite coffee shop. Close to our house. Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The owner has a golden retriever named Buddy - Buddy and Riggs are Saturday Sola Patio regulars.
