The only way to get to the island is by boat.  We have two options. We have chartered Fogg's Water Taxi located at 72 Commercial Street leaving Portland at 2:30pm.  This might not fit everyone.  There is a ferry to Peaks from Casco Bay Lines at 2:15 if you want to head over earlier.  August is a VERY busy time so there will be crowds but we will get you to the island! We won't start without you!

Peaks Island is 5 miles around.  It has 4 restaurants and a small grocery store.  You can rent a golf cart or take a leisurely walk around the island.  The views on the backshore are beautiful.  It's a great place for a day trip.
