Pisces Rising
Pisces Rising is an excellent place for dinner and a sunset. Known for its seafood and great drinks, Leah and John's favorite dish is the Paella. Oftentimes, you can find live music playing out on the patio.
Jk Thai & Sushi
This was Leah and her mom's favorite restaurant! They loved to get the chicken fried rice paired with a cup of wonton soup and a volcano roll.
The Goblin Market Restaurant & Lounge
The atmosphere at the Goblin Market is perfect for a romantic evening. We recommend getting a table in the lounge upstairs. John's go-to meal is the venison paired with the seasonal craft whisky. Leah enjoys the French onion soup and salad.
Highland Street Cafe
John and Leah go to Highland Street Cafe almost every Sunday. It's the perfect little dinner for breakfast or brunch. We highly suggest checking it out and trying their belgian waffles.
Copacabana Cuban Café
John and Leah frequently go to Copacabana for lunch. We typically order the Masitas paired with a sangria or the Cuban sandwich combo. Don't forget to try the Verde sauce!
Olive Branch Mediteranean - Italian
Our go-to restaurant for celebrations! The chicken parmesan is to die for, and they have the best selection of wines.
Downtown Mount Dora: Christmas Lights
Christmas in Mount Dora is magical! This is a MUST-DO if you're here visiting. Start downtown Mount Dora and walk around Donnely Park. Then, make your way down to the Mount Dora Boating Marina. It's sure to bring you some holiday cheer. Don't forget to stop for a cup of hot chocolate at One Flight Up!
Palm Island Park
John and Leah often take their dog, Timber, on strolls in Palm Island Park. It's a great place to walk around in nature. You might even see an alligator!
Renninger's Flea Market & Antique Center
You are sure to find a hidden gem at Rennigers Flea Market and Antiques Center. They have a huge selection of unique antiques, bargain deals, and fresh produce and plants.
