We meet on a dating app in early 2019 and went to a doughnut shop for our first date (where, spoiler alert, we return every year on this anniversary)! We made it official in February 2019, and we knew our relationship was special from the get-go. That year, we moved into our new house in Eden Prairie, and we adopted Petey in 2020. Our relationship continued to grow stronger, and we became a family of four when we adopted Ronnie in 2022. Joe proposed as the sun rose on our 4th anniversary while we were hiking in Canyonlands National Park. A few months later, we moved to our current home in Minneapolis as Leah started PA school. We are excited to finally tie the knot soon! Shortly after Leah graduates in the fall, we will be getting married privately in the mountains in Washington state. Outside of wedding planning, work, and grad school, we love to spend time with our dogs, do jigsaw puzzles, bake, and go out for ice cream together. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with our closest friends and family in November!
