Leah & Javon met at Red Lobster on November 11th, 2018. Leah was a server at Red Lobster and Javon happened to be sitting at one of her tables as a guest with his family. As soon as Leah walked up to the table, they locked eyes. It was like love at first sight. As he was there with family, he told them he would have Leah's number by the time they left the restaurant. Leah expected Javon to shoot his shot right then and there but later found out he didn’t because he didn’t have a haircut. Javon initially saw a high school friend that Leah worked with at Red Lobster when he first walked in and figured she would be the perfect person to give his number too. That’s exactly what he did! As he was leaving the restaurant, Javon pulled her to the side and gave his information to her. This small interaction went into us exchanging Instagram names, phone numbers, going on our first date and talking every day since then. The rest is history!

Leah and Javon had planned a dinner with all of his family at Olive Garden on October 4th, 2024. While Leah believed it was just a farewell dinner for Javon's nine month deployment, everybody else had other plans. While sitting at the dinner table waiting for other family to arrive, Javon walks in with balloons, flowers and his speaker bumping R. Kelly. Leah still didn't know what was happening, she assumed this was all because she was coming to see him as the couple was long distance at the time. As Javon came to give Leah a hug, he gets down on one knee asking the questions of "Will You Marry Me?" and Leah obviously said YES!!
