What are the hotel accommodations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at The Inn On Madeline Island for 9/11/26-9/13/26. Guests may call the Inn to reserve and pay for their room. The block will be held until 60 days before the wedding date (7/14/26). Reservations after this date cannot be guaranteed. Please see the "Travel" section of our site for more details on room types, capacity, and pricing. If not planning on staying with our venue, Airbnb's or VRBO's may be available on the island or mainland. There are also a number of hotels located on the mainland, around Bayfield and Ashland.

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

Since our venue is on an island, a 20–25 minute ferry ride will be necessary (don't forget your Dramamine!). Please see the "travel" section for further details on rates and schedules.

How should I dress for the event?

Answer

We ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Weather permitting, the event will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Average temperatures in September range from the 60s to 70s, but it may get cooler in the evening. We also recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass.

Can my children come to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to the limited venue size we’re keeping the celebration mostly adults-only. We are only able to accommodate children who are part of the wedding party or have been specifically invited. We hope this will allow all our guests (including parents!) to relax and enjoy the evening with us. We do plan to have a larger and more local party on May 24th, at Lewis Park in McFarland, and we'd be love for your kiddos to join us for that event. Thank you for understanding!

Am I allowed bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to the intimate size of our venue, we’re limiting our guest list to close family and friends for our ceremony and reception. Only those listed on your RSVP are invited, and we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. We do plan to have a larger and more local party on May 24th, at Lewis Park in McFarland, and we'd be love for your plus-one to join us for that event. We’re so grateful for your cooperation and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Save-The-Dates and Invitations will be sent out soon! Once invitations have been sent, please RSVP via our Zola Website by 7/14/26.

Answer

Our wedding colors will be shades of blue with burgundy accents.

Where are you registered for gifts?

We've started a registry on our Zola website and will be adding to it as we get closer to the wedding date. Please see the "registry" section
