Things To Do

Flagstaff is a true jewel of Arizona. The historic town is nestled in a forest against the base of the San Francisco Peaks. The city is known for skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, and a host of other winter activities. Though winter conditions may not be met during our wedding, there is plenty to enjoy. November is a great time to walk downtown, hike trails, and explore the city and surrounding areas in general.

Arizona Snowbowl

9300 North Snow Bowl Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
, (928) 779-1951

The Snowbowl area offers great hikes, sitting and picnic areas, and scenery for photography during the off season (i.e. when there is no snow.) The trail to Humphrey's Peak (Arizona's highest peak) begins at the base of the Snowbowl and ascends up to 12, 633ft.

Downtown Flagstaff

6 East Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ 86001
, (928) 275-2655

Downtown Flagstaff is a collage of storefronts for a great way to spend several hours. Think beer, clothing, treats, food, galleries, and vintage shops.

Local Hikes

Flagstaff, AZ

We'd recommend looking into various hikes around Flagstaff. Alltrails can help you to narrow your search by difficulty, terrain, time, etc.

Grand Canyon National Park

20 South Entrance Road, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023
, (928) 638-7888

One of the "Seven Natural Wonders of the World," the Grand Canyon is an excellent stop during the wedding weekend. The South Rim Visitor's Center is about 80 miles north of Flagstaff.
