While it is fun to see, it can be very overwhelming with tourists in the summer time. One of our favorite breweries, Old Stove, is there which is a great way to experience the market without the hustle and bustle. We do not recommend waiting in line at the Original Starbucks because it will take hours and is not different than any other Starbucks.
We always recommend taking the ferry over and getting lunch on the downtown strip! We love Bruciato (pizza) and there are wineries over there as well. It is only about a 40 min ferry ride so is a great half-day activity with amazing views of the city. Once you get off the ferry on Bainbridge, it is about a 15 minute walk to Bruciato.
Woodinville is filled with wineries, breweries and is home to the infamous, Woodinville Whiskey and is only about 45 mins outside of the city.
