The universe kept trying to get us to meet, but we simply kept missing each other - by a literal street over! We shared overlapping friend groups, both worked downtown for years, and somehow kept floating around each other without ever quite connecting. At one point, Leah even worked for a company that tasked her with mending a business relationship with Hoss’s restaurant, The Taco Stache. There’s no telling how many times we actually spoke, when the timing just wasn’t right. And then… Tinder. (We know!!) Hoss’s humor instantly stood out, and it earned him a first date at The Portal in Savannah, Georgia. A detail we’ll never forget from our first evening? A man kept following us from place to place trying to sell Hoss flowers (despite our decline🤣), pushing hard with “She looks like a special lady!” Spoiler alert: he was right - because we'll be celebrating our 4 year anniversary on our Wedding Day.
