The writer and the gamer had gone through so much in their lives both being unlucky in love decided to try a modern way to find their person and God seeing they were ready to finally meet granted their wish. So in the large sea of fish The gamer liked the picture of the writer and the writer liked the gamers picture back, both unknowing that they saw the face of their person for the first time. The gamer was the first to reach out and over a single day they both got to know each other. they exchanged things they didn't think they would with a stranger. The writer found herself speechless most of the time with how much they had in common and how much they didn't. You see the two people had lived close to each other their entire lives and visited many of the same places yet never met. They both shared the joy of siblings and the understanding of divorced parents. Their music tastes were complete opposite. By the end of the day the writer had trusted the gamer enough to give him her full name and add him on Facebook, something that took others months to receive. They continued their conversation there talking deep into the night and onto the next day. That day, which would later become their anniversary, the writer took a chance with the gamer. She had wanted to see a movie all day and when no one was able to join her she did something she only describes as hope. The writer messaged the gamer asking if he would join her, believing he would say no and deciding she would go to the movie either way. She waited on her living room floor scared of the answer, thinking about all the other times she put herself out there and it failed. unbeknownst to her the gamer was freaking out as well not believing he was really reading the words she had written. So nervously he typed out yes where? The writer getting the response shook with the same nerves of excitement and fear. She picked Greenwood not knowing that the gamer was already in that area and movies 8 because of the prices expecting to pay. After the long process of her getting ready and both freaking out some more, the writer finally pulls up to the place. God looks down excitement flowing through as he watches the events unfold...

The two get out and meet in the front nervousness corsing through their bodies as they slowly approach the other. The writer speechless as to what to say to him. The gamer complained the writer on her outfit as she acted like she had been wearing it all day and didn't just change before she came. The gamer saw her blush and gave a smile as they walked to the ticket stand. They decided on ant man and the wasp, a movie neither one had seen yet. The writer didn't mention to the gamer that she hadn't seen the first one either. The gamer paid before the writer could do so, she gave him a playful glair as she put her wallet back in her small bag, unlike the big one she always caried around. So while waiting the hour for the movie to start the writer, against what her mom had taught her, sits in the gamers truck named punisher and the two just talked. It took the gamer some time to get the writer to talk which those who know her wouldn't believe but it's true. They stuck to the generic stuff, what they hadn't covered yet over the day and a half they had been talking. The writer found herself listening to his words thinking it wasn't possible that the gamer liked her. He was thinking the same. Once it was time for the movie, the two got their movie theater go toos. For the gamer it was candy and soda, for the writer it was popcorn with butter, candy and soda. When the gamer mentioned he hated movie popcorn and just popcorn in general the writer found herself teasing him about it, because who didn't like popcorn. Throughout the two held hands, not sure who grabbed who's first. They found themselves stealing glances at each other lost in their thoughts more than the movie. Once it was over not wanting to part quite yet for the night the two decided to continue their conversation in Punisher after the gamer pulled it up next to Charming, the ride of the writer...

That night in the car was the first of many to come. The two talked about everything; went personal, discussing what they wanted in a relationship and their experiences and expectations, childhood stories even. The parking lot of the theater was empty besides them by the time they realized how late it was or early. Before she left the gamer took a chance and asked for a kiss, the writer said no not ready to give up what could be her last first kiss yet. The gamer not being deterred said what about a hug then. That the writer agreed to it. When they hugged between their cars with only a single light upon them the same thought ran through their minds home. The writer got home that night not loosing a second as she wrote a letter she had many times to the same person but this started differently it read, Dear future husband I think I met you tonight. The gamer had the same thoughts about her running through his mind. Both prayed they would experience many nights like their first. It would be a week later when the two finally gave their last first kiss in the driveway of the writers little brother's house as God looked down on them with a smile watching their beginning unfold just as he foretold.

It was January 16, 2021 when the gamer decided the time had come. By this time the two had now been together for 3 years. They had talked many times about their future and what they wanted it was time to put it in motion. The gamer decided he didn't need to ask the Red Queen for her daughter's hand again, three times was enough even though a yes was never given. After lots of choices he found the perfect ring for her. That day the two went to Greenwood for a day of fun. The writer said it was a day to celebrate their anniversary since they couldn't on the actual day. The writer saw the gamer was nervous but paid it no mind because she was excited to get out. The gamer was freaking out making sure the writer wouldn't catch on when he tried to get her to walk on the side that didn't hold the ring in his pocket. After spending a few hours playing games at Dave n Busters or chuck-E-cheese on steroids as the writer calls it, the two made their way to the place they go every year for their anniversary Build A Bear. This year they didn't get a matching set. The gamer created a bear in the house colors of Slytherin for the writer giving it her middle name. The writer falling in love with the Groundhog dressed him up in dragon pajamas with a Ravenclaw scarf giving him the name of Bob, after the cat with no tail. It was there as the writer was typing in the names he did it. She feeling his nervousness knew something was coming, hoping for a ring but didn't want to voice it...

When those words quietly slipped out of the gamer's mouth it was short and simple. The writer didn't need tons of words or something fancy and he knew that. At heart it was sentimental that she was looking for and the gamer delivered that to his writer. She smiled barely getting out yes, then asking if he asked her mom again, she laughed at his head shake. The women in the store congregated them finding the ring cute not knowing how special it was. The ring was of Winnie the Pooh holding a hunny pot, her home and comfort before the gamer came along. It was a kiosk worker who took their photo after that outside the store. The writer was dedicated to getting this one since she missed the one of their first date. They were not that good but the two will always cherish the memories that come with them. The writer laughed at the gamers pale face when she revealed that they would now go tell the Red Queen in person...
