Our Story

All the coffee, all the adventure, all the kisses!

Leah's Side of the Story: Me and Erin went on a first date to a coffee shop after meeting on a dating app and talking for a bit. I mostly liked Erin's profile since he said he appreciated when his date "loved Jesus." After that first date, I had that feeling that me and Erin could be a "thing." I didn't want to be one of those crazy people who comes home after a first date saying, "he's the one." But really that's how I felt. After a couple weeks of dating, we became official at 7am, and Erin went back out to sea later that day. In getting to know Erin more, I fell in love, and could see God's hand on our lives and on our love story so clearly. On June 27, Erin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, at around 6:40am. Haha, I guess early mornings are our thing. I'm so excited that God has blessed us so greatly with letting us meet and has called us to serve Him together, and I cannot wait to start the next chapter with Erin Bloom! Erin's Side of the Story: Leah and I first met on a dating app in January when she liked my profile. Seeing that she was outgoing about her faith in Jesus, I decided to accept her invitation to chat. After talking for a few days, I asked her out to coffee at a local coffee shop that she recommended. I kinda liked her after our first date, so we continued to message each other. I had been wanting to go rock climbing with someone, so, for our second date, I asked Leah to join me. She had never done it but was excited to try. We had a blast rock climbing, and I knew I liked her after that. My ship would regularly go out to sea, but we continued messaging and going on dates when the ship stopped in Norfolk. The more we spent time together, the more I liked her. After a few months, I knew I loved her. On June 27th, I asked Leah to marry me while enjoying an early sunrise in Virginia Beach. And she said YES! I'm so thankful and excited for what God has done and is doing in our lives! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us!
