Rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) are not reliably available in the area surrounding the venue and Honesdale. We strongly recommend planning transportation in advance, using a designated driver, or coordinating with other guests.
We want everyone to feel polished but comfortable in a warm-weather setting. Men: Dress pants or chinos with a button-down or lightweight dress shirt. Jackets, vests, and ties are optional. No jeans, please. :) Women: Elevated summer dresses, midi or floor-length sundresses. Light, breathable fabrics are encouraged. Overall vibe: formal but relaxed, airy, and summer-appropriate—think elegant without being heavy or restrictive.
There are several airport options depending on convenience and flight availability: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (Avoca) – ~40 minutes from Honesdale. This is the closest airport, but flights are limited. Newark Liberty International Airport – ~2 hours away. Best balance of distance and flight availability. John F. Kennedy International Airport – ~2.5–3 hours away. Very large airport with many flight options. LaGuardia Airport – ~2.5–3 hours away. Convenient for NYC flights, but slightly more limited internationally. Philadelphia International Airport – ~2.5 hours away. Another strong option with good flight availability. If you’re unsure, Newark is typically the easiest recommendation for most travelers.
