Our story began in Granite Falls back in 2013. 18 and 17 at the time, we crossed paths through mutual friends. Our connection grew as we spent each day together, creating cherished memories throughout the summer. Sealing the bond we had formed in August, Dean asked me to be his girlfriend; we have been nearly inseparable since.

I had been begging Dean to take me to the Tulip Festival, and it was almost over. Dean finally agreed to a date to take me; little did I know he had planned more than just a day out. Dean's brother Ole tagged along; secretly he was ready to capture the special moment. Surrounded by the beauty of the tulip fields Dean surprised me by dropping to one knee and asking me to marry him. I said yes and the tulips witnessed the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.
