In Niagara Falls State Park on the American side of the Falls you can view the falls up-close, feel the mist and hear the roar of the waters. The Maid of the Mist or Cave of the Winds attractions will take you even closer, but anyone can visit the park for free. 

From the Canadian side, there's a breathtaking panoramic view Clifton Hill has a variety of carnival-like tourist attractions and commercial businesses. 

We love visiting the park year round and have explored most of the trails from Three Sisters Island to Terrapin Point. The entire park recently underwent upgrades and is now handicap accessible.
