What does “festive formal” mean?

Answer

It’s just basically formal with a theme and more freedom to dress up or down (cocktail-formal). We just want to have fun! We have always loved the lights, colors, and glitz of the city and wanted to incorporate that into the vibe!

What will the weather be like in Vegas during October?

Answer

Highs of high 70s and lows is low 50s

How do I get from the Strip to the venue?

Answer

Most of the casinos have designated Uber/Lift pickup areas and drivers are plentiful! It is about a 15 min ride from MGM/Excalibur to Angel Park Golf Club.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors and the reception is indoors.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm, we ask that everyone is seated at 4:50pm. Champagne will be served before the ceremony (inside at the bar) for you to enjoy while we are tying the knot!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Sure! We just ask that you not block others’ view or hinder the photographer from getting the shot!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event!

Are there any other group activities that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We plan to have a casual pool day Wednesday at MGM Grand at 10am to get some last minute sun and hangout!

Is this a costume party?

Answer

No, BUT don’t feel like you have to be traditional. You can wear a suit with pink flamingos or feather sequins and we would love it. Elvis? Yes. Pirate? No
