A Love That Feels Like Home

Our first date was at a cozy restaurant in Gruene, TX, and within minutes, we were laughing and talking as if we’d been friends forever. We knew we wanted to see each other again, and we’ve been inseparable since that beautiful summer evening. Right from the start, we began blending our favorite interests. Chris introduced me to Formula 1. Now, I can tell you who’s on pole most weekends, what "Silly Season" is, and yes, I have a favorite driver (Alex Albon). In return, I introduced him to stand-up comedy. We’ve shared everything from belly laughs at small comedy clubs to floor seats at Nate Bargatze’s stadium tour. He brought me to The Sphere in Vegas to see his all-time favorite, U2, and I brought him to see my mellow-music man, Jack Johnson, in Austin. Between the live shows, great food, and good wine, we’ve built a life full of our favorite things. But some of our most meaningful moments are the quiet ones: the nights at home listening to music, sharing dinner on the couch, and the sense of completeness we feel when the kids are all home. Those everyday moments are where our connection really lives. We love, respect, and grow together, building something steady, joyful, and real. We share five amazing kids, E.J., Brodie, Logan, Russell, and Alexa, who bring real purpose to our lives. One of the most important parts of our story is how much we truly love and support each other’s children. We want the best for every one of them, and our goal is to walk this road together as a team. At the heart of it all, we’ve found something simple and rare: a love that feels like home, full of happiness and laughter, but most importantly, peace.
