Brenden

Groom

Brenden grew up in Castle Pines, CO spending his summers in the great outdoors of Montana. He went to Colorado Mesa University to study Mass Communications but accomplished much more during his undergrad. With the guidance of an inspiring professor Dr. Tucci and an innovative Dr. Page, Brenden and his business partner, Kayla, formed Kokopelli Marketing Agency which after six years continues to be a passion for him. In the past two years I’ve learned there is a lot to love about Brenden. He is goofy, intelligent, and thoughtful. He loves music, including Kings of Leon, Decemberists, and a recent obsession with Hamilton. He has a whole range of accents which he frequently uses during D&D. And while he mostly ate from the frozen section when I met him he now is an excellent pizza chef.

Leah

Bride

Leah Huey is kind, caring, and compassionate. Having grown up in Broomfield, Colo.—and a brief stint in North Carolina—she ventured to the Pacific Northwest to study biochemistry at Western Washington University. Afterwards (and thankfully) she came back to Denver after graduation. She met Brenden for the first time at an upscale diner in downtown Denver where they connected over their love of music, passion for the outdoors, and general good conversation. In a short span, Leah had convinced Brenden to go on his first backpacking trip where they encountered moose, beautiful waterfalls, and a love of each other's company. The adventures continued and their love grew as they spent more time together in the following year. She recently got accepted to the PhD Immunology program at OHSU.

Dominic 'Doc' Camarco

Best Man

Doc is Brenden's younger brother and best man. Doc recently graduated high school and is studying Cybersecurity at UCCS. Doc plays with Brenden and the rest of the groomsmen in their long running D&D campaign as a Warlock.

Mikaela

Maid of Honor

I met Mikaela in 1st grade and we became best friends after an infamous physics project in 6th grade. We have always been fire when working together so naturally I asked her to help me plan our wedding. Through thick and thin we have been there for each other. Romantic ups and downs, moving away for school, funerals, and just plain becoming an adult.

David Becker

Groomsman

Brenden met David on Day 1 of high school, sharing an advisement/home room class together in the eMedia & Business pod. They hit it off and never looked back. David plays a Wizard in their long running D&D campaign and is an avid snowboarder. David is Daniel's twin brother.

Anna

Bridesmaid

As the oldest of four siblings, Anna has always been the trailblazer. The one bold enough to jump in first and test the waters. She has also always been willing to turn around and help the rest of us in. She is not afraid to try something new, recently re-learning how to ski and mountain bike. She inspires me to look for adventure and never take life too seriously.

Daniel Becker

Groomsman

After meeting David, Brenden soon after met Daniel, his twin brother. Being that Daniel is also awesome, Brenden & Dan became great friends. Daniel plays a Ranger in their long running D&D campaign and is an avid snowboarder.

Madeline

Bridesmaid

Madeline and I are both the science nerds in our family. She first inspired my love of science, talking about how carbon creates the structure for life. Since then she has helped me grow into a scientist, letting me crash her life in Atlanta to work at Emory University. Throughout our adult life we have encouraged each other in our faith and are currently in a Bible study with my other bridesmaid, Maddie.

Nick Montgomery

Groomsman

Brenden has known Nick since the 5th grade and became much closer later in high school. Nick is rock climber and gamer! Nick plays a Paladin in their long running D&D campaign. He's also a ginger with a beard to rival Brenden's.

Maddie

Bridesmaid

While a friend of only a few years, Maddie and I grew connected immediately. When Maddie moved from Atlanta to Denver we connected over a city we had both lived in, music, faith, and love of the outdoors. Since meeting we have shared life together, planning Harry Potter themed Halloween parties, going to concerts, camping, and doing a triathlon together.
