"Upstage the Bride"
No please do not wear pink to the wedding. As noted in the dress code FAQ. You can wear white. You are encouraged to wear bright colors and lots of them, just not pink.
“Upstage the bride” Typically when you dress for a wedding you are told certain things like don’t wear white and don’t have a dress that stands out over the bride's. While you can throw those rules out the window, Blair and I are challenging you to upstage me - the bride. There is no standard of black tie v. formal v. cocktail v. casual. We want you to wear something fun, something colorful, something bold, something over the top and most importantly, you! This is an opportunity if you want to step out of your comfort zone. And we hope you will have some fun with it. You can do it up with the outfit, the shoes, accessories, or all three. You can wear white. We just ask that you don’t wear pink. Because this is not your typical dress code we have pulled some inspiration: https://pin.it/2CKHhCW A good measure is if the outfit makes you say “oh that is fun but I could never wear that to a wedding because it’s too much.” Then that is probably the right outfit this wedding. But at the end of the day this is a celebration and you can wear what is comfortable to you (and will get you on the dance floor!).
On the day of the wedding, we will have transportation to and from the Hilton Cleveland Downtown hotel that can take you to and from the venue. Since there will be an open bar, we encourage everyone to either utilize the transportation from the hotel or use Uber and Lyft. We think this is the best way to stay safe and get around Cleveland! Please note it is a holiday so we encourage you to schedule Ubers and Lyfts ahead of time. We are happy to help if needed. If you are not drinking and plan to drive, there will be limited parking spots available at the venue.
No. We will not be providing transportation to and from the welcome party. If you plan to drink, you need to plan to Uber. If you are driving there is ample street parking in front of the venue. For general ease we recommend ubering around. If you need assistance do not hesitate to reach out.
We love your little ones! However, due to limited space, our wedding will be an adults-only event with a few exceptions. Please refer to your invitation if your kids are invited.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

We are having an unplugged ceremony which means we ask that all guest turn their phones off for the entire duration of the ceremony to be present in the moment with us. Guests can take as many photos as they want during cocktail hour and the reception. We will have two photographers capturing everything during the ceremony and throughout the weekend. We hope this will help you enjoy the small and big moments this weekend, away from your phone.
Yes! Post away. We do not have a wedding hashtag at this time but send your suggestions and may the best person win.
The entirety of the wedding day will be indoor... it is Cleveland in the winter after all.
The ceremony will be short and sweet. We will have a few reserved seats for specific guests but we will ask the majority to stand for the ceremony. Dinner will be open seating so there will be no seating chart/assigned seats. Please feel free to reach out to Blair and Leah if you have questions.
