The service will be about an hour. The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, which means if you saw the royal wedding ours will be very similar--a service with readings and communion. Everyone is welcome to come up at Communion, but no one is required to. Benjamin is an Episcopal priest, so the Bishop will preside at the service and wear a fancy hat.
We are having our reception at the Olmsted, less than two miles from the church. There is ample parking at both the church and the reception. Uber and Lyft are also a viable option.
Yes, we are legally married as documented by the county clerk, Bobbie Holsclaw. We had an intimate ceremony on our original date of November 6, 2020. A vow renewal ceremony will take place at the church with a reception at the Olmsted following. Everyone likes a both a show AND dinner, right? Also, Leah is determined to wear her dress for as many hours as possible.
