Andrew and Leah met at church when they were 9 back in 2014. Between upward basketball games and Awana we spent lots of time together. By the time middle school came around we joined the youth group together going on events and seeing each other weekly, a crush slowly developed. In spring 2024 we went to our first date at the tropical smoothie on westnage, and remained friends throughout the summer. By the end of the summer we made it official. December 6th, 2025 Andrew proposed in Holland Michigan <3 Andrew’s earliest memory of Leah is guarding her in upward, while we were still the same height. We remember it was a big deal to our moms that we got to do so. Leah’s first memory of Andrew is running around the sanctuary during worship rehearsals early on Sunday mornings, trying to “flat tire” Andrew’s shoes. (Weird way of flirting)
