Emily and Leah met at their local Chickies and Petes on a freezing February night. Emily's order was messed up and they still argue about who was the brave person that send it back. They stayed at the table for entirely too long, shouting stories over the loud college crowd at the bar. Many years later, this is still one of their favorite ways to spend a night.
After finishing college, Emily helped Leah move a total of four times in one summer. With every cardboard box stuffed to the brim, more and more boxes were labeled E&L instead of L. Four semesters and a thesis later, Emily likes to say she got an honorary Master's degree out of it.
After getting the keys to the first real apartment, Emily filled shelves with vinyl records while Leah stocked the books. The two cats did little to help. The one-bedroom apartment displayed paintings and postcards, and ridiculous holiday decorations. With movie nights, book clubs, dinner dates, and occasional surprise parties, the apartment was worn in pretty quickly.
On a weekend trip to Longwood Gardens, Emily packed a ring and asked Leah the easiest question she ever been asked.
We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with you. We've been planning the Victorian house party of our dreams - party accordingly!
