What's the dress code?

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking photos and celebrating nearby for around 90 minutes. Guests are welcome to head to the reception venue for a cocktail hour at 5:00 pm. The wedding party will arrive to the reception venue at 6:00 pm.

How do we get from the ceremony venue to the reception venue?

Answer

The DelRay Ballroom is a short 10-minute walk from The Sheldon Art Gallery through the downtown area. If you prefer to drive, parking details are listed below.

Where should I park?

Answer

CEREMONY: There is limited metered street parking near the Sheldon Art Gallery, you will likely have to walk at least 5 minutes from your parking spot so please plan accordingly. The nearest parking garage is the Que Place Parking Garage (1111 Q St, Lincoln, NE 68508) but there are other parking garages and street parking nearby. Please note that parking meters need to be plugged until 6 pm on Saturdays. RECEPTION: There is a parking garage located directly on the east side of The DelRay Ballroom on 9th and R. There is additionally limited metered parking nearby. Parking meters need to be plugged until 6 pm and there is no charge for parking at a meter on Sunday.

Where should I stay?

There is a block of hotel rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket, which is directly across the street from the reception venue. You may either call the hotel and request a room in our block or click on the link under the Hotel tab on this website to book a room online.
