The sister property to the Harbor Grand and just a couple of blocks away, the Marina Grand is another wonderful option if you're looking to make a weekend of it. You'll have several room types to choose from, complementary access to bicycles, and easy walking access to everything downtown New Buffalo has to offer.
Travel Note
There are scores of vacation rentals of all sizes in the area. We recommend looking at Airbnb and VRBO for options, especially if you are looking to accommodate a large group. Book early - these spaces are already filling up for next summer!
Flight
For those who are flying in, we recommend flying into a Chicago-area airport. New Buffalo is about an hour drive from Midway and 1.5-2 hours from O'Hare.
Train
If you're coming from Chicago, consider making the trip scenic. The Wolverine and Blue Water lines run directly from Chicago Union Station to downtown New Buffalo. Traveling from Detroit? The Wolverine line has you covered from that direction too. The New Buffalo Amtrak stop is walking distance from the Harbor Grand Hotel and Marina Grand Resort, or a short car ride to the Fairfield Inn.
Flight
South Bend is the closest airport to New Buffalo, and is about a 40 minute drive away. Those flying from the east coast may be able to find a direct flight!

For those flying from the east coast, you may be able to find flights to Grand Rapids. It is about a 2 hour drive from Grand Rapids to New Buffalo.
