Chad has worked with Bell's for 6 years and Leah has worked there for 4 years, so they knew of each other for quite a while. They would see each other down at the pub, at Planet Fitness or around Kalamazoo, and when Leah transferred to the Quality department in Comstock she would see Chad on a daily basis at work. Soon they bonded over workouts, country concerts and spent their first evening together dancing to 90's dance hits in Shakespeare Pub's basement. Now their relationship has blossomed into many moments of laughter, fun, love and most of all excitement for their future together!

Escaping the terrible negative degree weather and snowstorm that plagued the Midwest, Chad and Leah headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where they spent a week enjoying the beaches, tacos and most of all the warm weather and sun. While enjoying one of the many beautiful sunsets out on a rock peak in the ocean, Chad surprised Leah by getting on one knee and asking her to marry him, and their journey to marriage began.
