Question

Can I use my phone to take pictures/videos?

Answer

We know that capturing every moment with us is important, however, phones are not allowed at the ceremony or reception until after the father/daughter dance has concluded. There will be two people there, named Lamont and Jay, and they do a beautiful job of capturing the most precious moments. Please respect this wish and let our amazing team work their magic!

Are there any children allowed?

Answer

As most of you know, we love children. We both work in a school so I sure hope we do! On this day, however, we respectfully ask that no children attend our wedding to allow all adults, including parents, to enjoy a relaxing evening! Thank you so much for your understanding!

What about plus ones?

Answer

We do plan to invite plus-ones, however, that will be specified on each individual invitation. If your invitation does not include both names on the address line or does not have more than the number "1" written on the number of attendees line for the RSVP, we have not provided you with a plus one. We appreciate your understanding!

Is it open bar?

Answer

YES! We do have an open bar consisting of beer, wine, and soda with a large variety of choices we talked through with our vendor to ensure there was something for everyone! No liquor, aside from the specialty cocktail, will be allowed or provided.

Where can I park?

Answer

Across the street (about 5 feet from the entrance to the venue), there is a parking lot. It kindof looks like a field. You may park there! There are two parking spaces close to the venue that are reserved for our grandparents so please do not park on the same side as the venue! If there is any concern about safely getting to the venue, a loop is right out front that loved ones can be dropped off at prior to the driver parking across the street.

Where can I sleep?

Answer

If you take a peek at our lodging tab, there is information about two hotels that have been blocked off! Please book ASAP if you would like to stay there as you are only able to book in our block until about two months out (August 22, 2022)!

If I need to smoke, where should I go?

Answer

There will be a designated smoking section right outside the barn, just across the walkway. Please go there!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be able to dress how you are comfortable! We do ask that you dress up (semi-formal/formal) for our day! We would love to see everyone all dolled up out on the dance floor with us! Please keep in mind, our ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors. Please plan accordingly for the cool fall weather!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

The bottom third of the invitation is removeable. Please check accept or decline. If you accept, please write the number attending on the line below. Remove the bottom third (please keep the top of the invitation and details card so you know all of the wedding day information), add a stamp, and pop it in the mail! We hope you can make it and we can't wait to see you if you can!
