The Hotel Palomar sits on the corner of South 17th and Sansom Streets, just a short distance from Philadelphia's City Hall. It is situated two blocks from Rittenhouse Square and about nine miles (or 20–25 minutes) from Philadelphia International Airport. (Take a flat-rate cab for $35 – plus a $1 surcharge per additional passenger over 12, plus gratuity.) Alternatively, the SEPTA train proves inexpensive and convenient; simply take the “Airport Line,” which stops outside the baggage claim areas of each terminal, to Suburban Station (located at 17th and JFK Boulevard, four blocks north of the hotel). The train costs $9 and takes approximately 20 minutes to get into Center City.

Parking

24-hour valet parking is available at the hotel ($57 per night plus tax, with unlimited in-and-out privileges). Please allow at least 30 minutes when calling for your vehicle. The valet loading and unloading area is located on South 17th Street at the corner of Sansom Street. There is also a parking garage at 1728 Sansom Street (iParkit Garage) for $50 a night.
