The Ceremony will begin at 3pm sharp. Please allow yourself enough time to get to the Church so that you are on time. We recommend that you arrive at least 15-20 minutes early so you don't miss a thing!
Ceremony: There is a paid parking lot behind the Cathedral Reception: Unfortunately since the hotel is in the middle of downtown, there is limited parking available. If you have to drive, we recommend parking at the Rideau Centre or at City Hall.
While your presence at our wedding is all that we ask, if you would like to give us a gift, a monetary donation to our future together would be greatly cherished. Please look for our card box during the reception or hand envelopes to our wedding coordinator.
Yes! The wedding is formal/black-tie optional as the Chateau Laurier is a beautiful upscale castle hotel. We would love for you to get dressed up in your formalwear and dance the night away with us! Attire suggestions: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! If you can't make alternate arrangements for your little ones, please let us know and we will work out a solution!
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, due to venue limitations we would prefer if it was just you.
