We're Getting Married!... again!

We, like everyone else in this crazy world of ours, were affected by COVID-19 this year. As you all know, our original wedding date was set for April 11th, 2020. We say 'frenemy' because COVID is just that. Because of COVID we lost some vendors, a bit of money, a sense of security, and our sanity. But we also were surrounded by an immense amount of love and support, made beautiful and unforgettable memories, and still had the best day of our lives. We are now blessed with two weddings: one intimate, and one grand. And we can't wait to celebrate with everyone! (with the proper hand hygiene and distance of course!)

Like many relationships these days, it all started with a swipe and a click. Living nearly an hour apart and balancing two erratic work schedules didn't stop us from bonding over our love for The Office and craft beer. Fast forward to a snow storm in Atlanta, Georgia and a nine hour road trip till 4am to rescue his stranded girl, it all became so clear. Two pupperonis and a beautiful house later, the rest as they say, is history.

Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio Morgan has always had an intense love for the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. Unforgettable memories and jokes continue on since their first time going to the Lights together so it seemed only natural to make another beautiful memory there. Walking around the huge decorated Christmas tree to get a picture, Alex asked someone to take it for us. And surprise! It's Alex's mom along with the rest of their family and friends. Alex dropped down on one knee so fast everyone almost missed it and asked Morgan to spend the rest of their lives together.
