Logan and Lea officially met their junior year at Hortonville High School. Before then, they hung out with the same people and had the same interests, but the two never really talked before. Logan easily fell for Lea first, when he worked up the nerve to ask her to prom. The two haven't been talking for long, when he asked Lea to bring her home from school one day. While on their way home, he took a look at Lea and said, "you have something on your face". Naturally, Lea looked in the mirror. Little did she know, he snuck a note in his passenger side mirror that said "PROM?" Not long after prom, the two officially started dating. In June of 2013, the two shared their first "I love you."

It was a random, unexpected proposal. On Monday December 3rd, 2018 Lea was at the gym while Logan was at home putting lights and ornaments on the Christmas tree. Lea got home, and the two ate supper, like any normal night. Logan asked Lea to play a "game". The Strebig's have a tradition that they play a 'Pickle Game'. Basically, if you find the Pickle Ornament in the tree, you get an extra gift. Lea, unenthused, begins to look for the Pickle. After about 5 minutes, she finds the beautiful ring hanging from an ornament hook inside the tree. Logan then, got down on one knee and asked him to marry her.
