We met back in 2021 at Echo Grove camp when we were part of the summer camp staff. Ethan was the lead male counselor, and Lea was part of the female counseling staff. We were both participating in a part of the staff orientation called “day in the life”, where we had the opportunity to learn what it was like to fill the roles of some of our peers at camp. We started talking that day, and became fast friends. We grew closer over the summer, and began dated near the end of our time together. Then, in December of 2024, Ethan asked Lea to marry him. The past four years have been a blessing, and we are so excited to see what God has in store for our future.
