When and where is the wedding? / Quand et où le mariage se déroulera?

Our wedding will take place on June 20, 2026, at the beautiful Château d'Oche in France. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on-site at the château. Notre mariage aura lieu le 20 Juin 2026 au magnifique château d'Oche, près de Limoges. La cérémonie ainsi que la réception se dérouleront au château.

Why France? Pourquoi en France ?
Answer
France felt like the perfect place to begin our next chapter—not just because it’s beautiful, but because it’s Léa’s home country. We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful or romantic setting to celebrate with the people we love most. La France nous semble l'endroit parfait pour démarrer notre nouveau chapitre–Pas seulement parce que c'est un pays magnifique mais parce que c'est le pays de naissance de Léa. Nous ne pouvons pas imaginer un lieu plus romantique et éloquent pour célébrer ce jour magique avec toutes les personnes que nous aimons.

Will there be other events besides the wedding? / Il y aura-t-il d'autres activités mis à part le mariage?

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors? / La cérémonie sera-t-elle en interieur ou exterieur?
Answer
If the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be outdoors with stunning countryside views. If not, we have a beautiful indoor option ready at the château. Si le temps le permet, la cérémonie se déroulera à l'extérieur avec une superbe vue sur les jardins du château. En cas de mauvais temps, nous avons l'option de rester confortablement à l'intérieur du château.

What’s the weather like in France in June? Quel est le temps en Juin au château?

Typically, June is warm and pleasant in this region—expect temperatures around 70–80°F (21–27°C). We'll keep an eye on the forecast and share updates closer to the big day. Généralement, en Juin, il fait bon et agréable dans le Sud Ouest de la France – Temperature entre 18 et 25 degrés.

Can I stay at the château?
Answer
Maybe! We’ve reserved the entire grounds of the Château d'Oche for the weekend, and a limited number of rooms. If you’d like to stay on-site with us, let us know as soon as possible—space is limited and we're still finalizing details. The château does have more rooms than we've reserved, we're working on the booking process with the venue. Just keep in mind that things are still in flux, and availability may change.

What language will everything be in? / Dans quelle langue le mariage sera-t-il?
Answer
Most of the ceremony and reception will be in English as it is Léa and Ashley's common language. Our vendors and our event coordinators are bilingual. Certain speeches from Léa's side of the family will be in French but don't worry, we'll have a little booklet with the translation for you! Étant la langue que Léa et Ashley partage, une grande partie de l'évènement se déroulera en Anglais. Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, nous prévoyons un petit livret contenant la traductions des discours et autres importantes informations! Par ailleurs, tous nos prestataires et coordinateurs de mariage sont bilingues.

Do I need a visa to travel to France?
Answer
If you're traveling from the U.S. (or another visa-waiver country), you can visit France for up to 90 days without a visa. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Disneyland Paris/Paris?
Answer
Either before or after the wedding we plan in hitting up Disneyland Paris/Paris. We'd love for you all to see the city and experience all the things we love about Paris, more details to come!
