September 6, 2024! We will get married at Allenbrooke Farms in Spring Hill, TN. This is about 45 miles from the airport (BNA). The ceremony and reception will be held in the same location.
Our wedding is dressy casual. Dressy casual strikes a balance between casual and cocktail attire. It’s more polished than everyday wear but not as elaborate as formal wear. To help visualize, here are some examples for both men and women: For Women: 1. Dresses: A nice dress that is not too formal. Think sundress, a cocktail dress, or a dressy skirt and blouse combo. 2. Tops and Skirts/Pants: A nice shirt with a skirt or linen pants. 3. Footwear: Heels, wedges, flats, sandals, cute sneakers. For Men: 1. Shirts: A button-down shirt or a polo shirt. It will be hot so be sure it's cool. We don't want anyone passing out. 2. Pants: Dress slacks, linens, chinos. 3. Jackets: A sport coat or a blazer is optional, not necessary. 4. Footwear: Loafers, dress shoes, or clean, stylish sneakers. General Tips: - Fabric Choice: Choose fabrics that are a step up from casual, such as cotton blends, silk, or linen. - Fit: Ensure that clothes are well-fitted and neat. Avoid anything too tight or too baggy. Dressy casual strikes the right balance for a wedding that is not strictly formal but still requires a sense of occasion and effort in dressing up. Hope this helps!
With the wedding right around the corner, we kindly ask you to respond to the digital Save the Date to help with our planning. Formal invitations will be sent out in the coming weeks, including instructions on how to RSVP.
Yes, you can bring a plus-one. Just make sure they bring their best dance moves. We can't wait to meet them!
Yes, there is plenty of parking on the property. The property is also handicap accessible if needed.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat.
The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be indoors. In case of inclement weather, we will move the ceremony inside. We recommend checking the weather forecast closer to the date and dressing appropriately.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We want you to enjoy the moment and be fully present so that you enjoy the ceremony with us. We have hired a professional photographer to capture these special moments and we will send you the link afterwards.
Your presence is the best present! However, if you wish to give a gift, we have a cash fund on our website as we are saving to buy our first house together. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.
If you have any questions, please contact Laura or Chris. We will update this information with our Wedding Coordinator's information shortly.
