We’re (finally!) getting married!

We met our sophomore year of high school in 2013. We talked back and forth for a bit, but Alex was shy and didn’t really talk to me until he asked me to be his girlfriend on 9/24/2013. Of course I said yes! We spent the rest of high school dating and walked down the aisle of graduation together. We moved into a small studio in Monroe together shortly after graduation and I began college while Alex worked. We decided to get a cat, followed by a dog, and then ANOTHER dog! My mom became sick and I spent most of my time with her, school, and working while Alex worked full time, sometimes staying away for a week at a time for work. We moved into a trailer in Brooks and kept one of the puppies our oldest dog had, making THREE dogs. After my mom passed away, I graduated with an associates degree and began working full time. Not everyone was aware, but we had been trying to get pregnant for around 5 months when we got a positive test! We were SO excited, but quite nervous. We ended up moving into our current house just before our beautiful little girl was born. After a long and scary delivery and postpartum experience, we are all happy and healthy! We decided that what better day to get married on than our 9 year dating anniversary! We will get to celebrate a full decade of loving each other and one year married at the same time!
