Hotel Phillips

We have 10 rooms reserved for those traveling for our wedding. There are 5 double queen rooms + 5 king rooms. Please use our wedding block if you plan on booking a hotel! We get a free stay on our first wedding anniversary if all 10 rooms are booked :) The rooms are $169/night + taxes & fees, and are reserved for Thu, Nov. 21st – Sat, Nov. 23rd. You must secure your booking by October 22nd!

Shuttle

Traveling

Hotel Phillips has a black shuttle van that can seat up to 10 people at a time; it runs at a first come, first serve basis, and goes anywhere up to a 2 mile radius. The hotel (on the corner of 12th & Baltimore) is just half a mile's distance from the wedding venue (on 17th & Baltimore).

Train

The Streetcar

Another travel option is to walk a block to the streetcar Metro Center stop on 12 & Main and hop on the tram heading south. You will exit two stops later at the Kauffman Center on 16th & Main, then walk a block from there to the venue. The KC Streetcar is free and does not require any kind of ticket or validation. This course will probably take the longest, but can be a fun experience if you've got the time!

Travel Note

Walking & Driving

Hotel Phillips and UNION are just 5 blocks from each other. Should you choose to walk, it'll only take about 10 mins. Parking at UNION is limited. Should you choose to drive, please plan accordingly. Uber and Lyft are also available at all times and will drop you off directly in front of the venue. Parking map information here:

Flight

The Airport

The Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is a 25 min drive from downtown KC, where the hotel and wedding venue will be. The airport was completely rebuilt and renovated in February of last year. We hope it's clean and shiny for you! Layth and Brittany live just 15 mins from the airport and are happy to pick you up. Just let us know when you're arriving! We cannot wait to see you all when you get here <3
